While the solar energy crisis is happening worldwide due to mass energy used and pollution occurred during the process of manufacturing of silicon wafer type solar cell, USA and Japan energy department is showing great interest in the CIGS solar solution. Although the conversion rate, total energy provided and life time is longer for the CIGS solution however the based glass for CIGS is very fragile, the melting point and boiling point for the 4 elements are different resulting difficulty in controlling the evenness of the manufacturing process, further more the Selenide process is too long, expensive and toxic and have ecology issue thus causing the CIGS product difficult to manufacture.

Ledder Technologies CIGS technologies co-develop with a major US Chain store supplier using 4 in 1 manufacturing process for CIGS. With the development of  Nano Graphic base material which successfully overcome the fragile base material problem and the solution to overcome the toxic Selenide issue creating a non toxic with a conversion rate of 12-14%. This special nano Graphic base material can raise the voltage from 0.5V to 1V, by raising the voltage we should be able to raise the conversion factor from 14% to 28%. This technology has been filed patent with China patent number CN 102054897.
